At first, the process was a little daunting and a bit overwhelmed, but over time, I learned through experience and research, and today I would like to share that insight with you. Important points when considering a potential purchases of Oriental rugs. Number 1 Color's! Is the color of your rugs aesthetically pleasing? Does the color of your rug give you a sense of joy and happiness? If so, that's a good start. Number 2 The quality of materials. If the rug is made of wool, is the wool good quality as most hand-woven rugs are? Good quality wool does not feel dry or scratch to the touch and should be fairly resilient. If you push it, will it bounce back? Healthy sheep's hand-woven wool is durable and will last for years. If the rug is silky, it should be as shiny as the sun and will be cool to the touch.
